Gilsonite Specifications & Grades
Gilsonite specifications define the agreed quality limits for a commercial grade. Asia Gilsonite supplies natural asphaltite in different ash and particle-size options for drilling, asphalt and other industrial uses. Buyers should select a grade by application, ash content, moisture, mesh and any required thermal or compatibility parameters.

Gilsonite lump and powder specifications
Gilsonite lump and ground powder are forms of the same natural material, but they require different size and handling specifications. For a lump order, state the required lump-size range, acceptable fines, ash and moisture limits, packing, quantity and destination. How We Control Gilsonite Grade Quality
- Selection of raw Gilsonite according to the target grade.
- Controlled crushing, milling and screening for required particle size.
- Drying capability when moisture control is required by weather or specification.
- Covered storage to protect finished material before shipment.
- Industrial bagging and export packing according to the agreed order.
- Quality-control testing against ash, moisture, mesh and other agreed parameters before loading.
- Buyer or independent inspection can be arranged when required before shipment.
